Creating this ring was no different. We had a blank canvas, starting only with this perfect pink sapphire. Her only non-negotiables were that it had to have a smooth, low profile that would fit under her medical gloves at work.
Together, we reworked my emerald and shield setting into something entirely brand new.
The piece features two trillion-cut diamonds flanking her sapphire. The pink and white are stark but feminine.
They are each bezel set and then set between the two bands, like a channel. This required thoughtful planning to ensure the stones face up perfectly, while the flat band prevents any snagging.
